Enzafruit is fully prepared to welcome its first, big volume of the season. The first vessel with the New Zealand crop will arrive in Antwerp on 12th April. Enzafruit Continent is proud of being the sole importer of New Zealand apples and pears which has its fruit delivered by traditional Reefer vessels and therefore able to guarantee continuity.
This first vessel of the season will bring a big volume (up to 2,000 pallets) of the delicious fresh apple varieties Cox and Royal Gala. It goes without saying that Enzafruit Continent has scheduled several vessels throughout the season. The second vessel is expected in week 17. This vessel will -except for Royal Gala and Braeburn- also bring the long-expected new JazzTM crop. Three other vessels are scheduled to arrive later throughout the season.
The quality of the apples is this season again exceptional as they have matured in ideal weather conditions. Thanks to this maturation, the apples do not only have an excellent coloration, they are also perfect of taste.
The start of a new season also ensures focus and attention on marketing. Enzafruit puts the new season in the picture by making a lot of promotion. This means for instance organizing tastings in Germany/Belgium/ The Netherlands/France, take part in professional and lifestyle fairs/events, but also focus on customer campaigns at the points of sale. Germany will be the first country where Enzafruit Continent will start with a big TV-campaign at the channel ProSieben. This is a real advantage for the German customer as he can win a trip for two persons to New Zealand. In Belgium, the exclusive “JazzTM crunch” sound can be heard through the JazzTM commercial on the radio stations Q-music and Joe Fm.
Together with the new crop, Enzafruit decided to give the JazzTM logo and its promotion items a new, fresh, modern look. Thanks to this, the features of the JazzTM apple are even more emphasized.
Enzafruit is looking forward to another successful season!
